Although I'm running on an extremely tight schedule, with the econs case study and what not, I shall have to blog today as I feel that there is a need for it.

I have a confession to make.



(No... Not a love confession.. Thats all you guys think, right?)



Anyway, I was having a bath and I was drying myself with a towel when the toilet lights, which spoil every so often, began flickering. Now, I don't pretend to be aa very brave person, because I'm not. The slightest things scare me. Although I love the darkness, I dont like complete darkness, or flickering of lights. I would probably be in Timidpuff if I ever get accepted at Hogwarts. Anyway, it was really close to midnight and it ain't a very nice thing to be in a small, enclosed, wet room, with the lights flickering, and no clothes on. I panicked at first, reaching for the door, then, suddenly aware of my nakedness, I stopped. I took a moment to consider and calm down. Since everyone was asleep, I turned off the bathroom light by steadily extending a hand out through a small gap betwwen the door. Then, I got dressed in the darkness. Not a very pleasent experience.

Well, I guess I'd better go back to my homework.

Heyya! I’m back from the COP at the Admiralty National Day. I shall post up pictures next time as Zhi Jun has the bulk of the photos. We took photos with the admiralty MP, Dr. Maliki (pardon me if I spelled your name wrongly). (At this point of time I actually went to check if the past tense of spell is spelled or spelt, then found out, courtesy of a dictionary, that both can be used.)


Special mention to my besty, Mr. Lee Kong Cheng, whose birthday I have not blogged about, although, according to him, it happened centuries ago (it like it was a week ago). We went to watch Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix, which sadly, like the last 2 movies in the sequel, disappointed me. I don’t deny that I was yawning through some parts. If you have read the book, you will definitely be disappointed at this movie. We went to Swensens next where we had lunch (We meaning Kc[BESTY], Eunice[DOLPHIN], Pei Xian[AH XIAN!] and me[idiot] *laughs at myself*). I believe Kc has gone into details about the food at his blog, so I shall leave the details to him (come on, Darren; if you are lazy just say so). We bought his birthday present at *EHEM EHEM*

As I was saying, after we dined, we went our separate ways. It was a short but memorable affair.


My mum came back from Japan yesterday, and she brought home lotsa goodies! Yay! I <3 mum! She bought for me School Rumble DVDs (when she told me the price my mouth literally dropped). If I were there with her, I would have stopped her from buying them. Anyway, I shall give you all some goodies if I get the chance, unless of course I finish them before you get to me.

Okay, back to COP.

It guess we had a ball of a time, although it was hectic at times. When I reached home, I realised that it allowed us to forget about our academic worries for a moment and I must admit, I did not think about the maths test tomorrow even though some people did mention it. I totally forgot about school and had actual fun, which I have not experienced for a very long time. After the finale, we hit each other with the clappers (the 2 long columns of air things). It was mostly random hitting but the main targets were Louise, Zhi Jun, Sophia and Boon Ping. When Louise, Boon Ping and Amos went after Gwen and Ji Soo, Zhi Jun and the girls went to their aid, resulting in a victory in their favour. After we took photos with Dr. Maliki, the fighting ensued dangerously close to the aforementioned, and I was worried that they might accidently hit him. But all turned out well. We walked to the bus-stop where I took a one bus-stop ride back home, while the rest went to Causeway Point to take other buses home. We were really high after the event because of all the fighting and some of us did a half chicken dance. Ivy and I had the funniest fight ever. We only had one clapper each, and when she tried to attack me, I grabbed her clapper and, with her still holding it, I bent it down the middle and hit her with it. She then grabbed my clapper and it was more or less a fruitless struggle and we gave up after awhile.

Right now, I’m sitting in front of the tele, watching a show called Solitary. Apparently, 5 people are isolated in these small rooms and they are given tasks to do. Currently, each of them have 914 or so small balls and I think they have to count the number of balls I think, while a mechanic voice distracts them by randomly calling out numbers. Now, they have turned off the lights, and they are counting them in darkness. Omg.. round 2 is 1299 balls. Now the lights are irritatingly being turned on and off. -.- 1325 now.. so impossible la.

Okay, I shall end here. Gotta go bath, darn smelly here!

Phew! That was long!

I have been longing to rant about the Deathly Hallows (or as my jiejie Audrey says: Deathry Harrows xD) ever since I finished reading it. Don’t worry. I will try my best not to give away too much for the benefit of those who have yet read this wonderful ending to the Harry Potter Saga.
Now, I shall announce my favourite characters. Some of them have changed over the course of reading the last book, and one surprising character made it to my top 3 after I finished reading book 7. Now, my top 3 favourites, in no order of merit are:

Ginny Weasley

Stubborn, yet with a tinge of death, some parts in the Potter Saga has indeed made Ginny look and sound scary (bat bogey hex). However, she has remained one of my favourites all through books 6 and 7 because of the very same reasons above, as well as her split personality. She could be the sweet little girl one time and a deathly witch the next.

Luna Lovegood

What can I say? She stands by her believes (Crumpled Horn Snorlacks), not to mention her radish earrings. What I’m trying to say is that she knows when to believe herself, and ignore the comments of others, however insulting they might escalate to.

Neville Longbottom

Yes. In case you were wondering, this was the one I was mentioning above that just made it to my list. You could say it was quite a feat for Mr. Longbottom. Regardless, he proved himself worthy of my top 3 list in the last book.

Those who almost made it:

Fred and George Weasley

Funny and witty, and oh how they can joke even when they are in moral peril. It’s not always fun and games for these 2 young entrepreneurs, as we have seen in book 5 when they were worried for their father. In fact, I’m starting to think why I left them out.

Finally Back!!!

Finally! Time to blog!!

Jun You came back 2 weeks ago and kc, Tracie, Eunice and I met him during our youth day holiday! We went to town and he generously bought us all a cup of Godiva Chocolate (YUM~!!) which cost like freaking $8 a cup!! Thanks jy! Went over to marina square where he bought a buffalo (jeans) and a sweater from a shop whose name is oddly familiar yet I cant seem to place a name on it right now. We went to Skin where he tried these really retro jeans which didn’t look like something he would wear, and seriously, I think he made the right choice in buying the buffalo (jeans). Went to orchard next where Amos made and appearance. We went to Chanel and Dunhill, then off to Taka’s Godiva to buy chocs for jy’s friend in Aussie. Eunice, Amos and I had to go to 11A class dinner so we left them, whilst tracie left for home. Kc and jy went to Si Hui’s new house (I want to go!!).

The class dinner was good, despite the fact that half of us – me included – were late by more than an hour. We walked from Marina Bay mrt to the steamboat area which was freaking far in! I was drenched in my own sweat (one second thoughts, of course my own sweat…). CT and the others who were there had already started. We took another table and started piling our plates with GLORIOUS FOOD! Boon Ping and Louise refused to touch the raw prawns (still alive) so Zhi Jun and I went to wash them. I admit I was abit apprehensive at first not being used to it and all but the prawns were well behaved and only once did I feel a squirm at my palm. (CT absolutely refused to eat the prawns because according to him, certain animals release a poison as they die and he said looking at how the prawns slowly (and pitifully) died in the pan, he could not imagine how much poison was being secreted.) in fact, only Zhi Jun lined the prawns up for the slaughter, although I did move them around in the pan. The result? Zhi Jun ate most of the prawns and forced all of us to eat at least one or two prawns. After the dinner we sang happy bdae to Boon Ping and we tried to call a cab. Never try to call a cab at 9pm on the night of a holiday. All you get is the automated answer. So I stood like an idiot for 45mins hoping to hear humanity at the other side of the line but it was to no avail. We finally took the bus back to the mrt and took the mrt home -.-

Went to have a farewell dinner for jy on Thursday night. We went to cwp’s Dian Xiao Er and the food was really quite good! One thing I cannot resist saying is that their white rice is labelled in the menu as ‘Superior White Rice’. Hahaha. Snuck out with Si Hui after ordering on the pretence of going to the toilet, which I later realised was a bad excuse since we visit different toilets (I promptly told Si Hui or Si Hui told me… I forgot… that we were SISTERS) I can still remember how we served each other that day, everyone piling food on each others plates for the first few minutes, yet not palcing a touch of food on our own plates. The result was a plateful of food for everyone! Si Hui was curious when I walked over, and then she realised that I was going there to serve her cause my arms were too short. Haha. We ate a choc cake which Si Hui and I snuck out to buy and we celebrated jy’s and Eunice’s bdaes! Almost everyone went to kc’s hse and I walked them to under kc’s flat where I bade goodbye. I wanted to stay but time tragically pulled me away. Sobsob

heyya guys! I'm bacck from another escapade with SG17!!!

Went to Dhoby and smsed Kah Shing, who then told me they were at cine =.= So off to cine! Derrick, Kah Shing, Vivek and Kenneth a.k.a Wawa a.k.a Daddy Kenn were there playing lan. went off to paly pool as soon as i arrived. We played for an hour, then went off to meet Michelle a.k.a Mummy Mich, who was at dhoby waiting for us for close to 20mins! Sorry Mich! Jerome and Asher came soon after. Meanwhile, wawa and Derrick left us T_T so the remaining 7 of us went to swensons where i ate this horrible satisfying salmon and mushroom baked rice. The topless 5 ice-cream was good, though. No wonder there are famed for their ice-cream. We ordered 2, since we figured that would be cheaper than the Earthquake. We practically almost ordered all the chocolate flavours! Lime sherbet was niceeeeee!!!

Went to mind's cafe after that. Played this game called Snorta for half an hour before heading home. Oh did I mentionw e got gifts for Mich, MJ and Derrick? (Birthday). Mich got this pink pillow with a face thingy, Derrick got a magic the gathering booster pack (LOL) and we got MJ a miniature toy car (Dream car ok?).

It was kinda sad cause some schools havent finished exams and none of the other girls came. Zhi Yong didn't come also T_T

ah well, off to bed!

In school from 11am to 2pm for maths consultation and to photocopy last yr's summer test papers. Doubt i got time to do anyway.. But still, I did page 1 and 2 of the Chinese paper just now.. Want to die liao.. haha.. Spent 3.30 to 9.15 doing bio.. not very productive though.. only got through 3.5 lecture notes..

Starting on Chem and Econs tml.. Hopefully I can finish Chem by Sunday (paper is on monday =.=) and some econs, which is on tuesday.. Can't wait for Thursday 11.00am to come...

Okay.. my break's over.. gotta go study bio (again)..

Heyya!!

I had the weirdest nap today. Slept at 11.20am to 11.50am, and within that 30mins, I had 5 dreams! First 2 were connected, and last 3 were connected. Gosh.. Dunno what happened..
