played heart-attack, then went home. took taxi with joel and cc cause cc needed to be home by 7.

oops. gotta go remove my hp from the chrager.
ok. can ler. found an error in one of my posts...

HAPPIER NOW.
i cant change my blogskin.... T_T
i found this nice blogskin, final fantasy advent children, but blogger just wouldn't republish my blog!!!

got bacck some results todae. quite disappointed, i must say. chem sucked. b3... i expected a2. hais. geog 33/50. industry killed me. physics practical got like 21/30, but i think i'm gonna add some marks(1). eng got 37/50, my highest morale lifter so far, but overall, didnt do so well. w maths 65/80. i saw everyone like getting 75+++ then i get 60+. sad.

not in the mood to blog.

i just cant stop hating, hating, i hate you.

biology

offtopic: tragedy at my carpark. was blogging and then suddenly heard a very distinct voice of a woman crying and screaming. from what i hear and see, i deduce that the man was unwilling to marry her, and she was really sad, i mean she was screaming in chinese 'wei sha mo ni bu yao jia ge wo' (why don't you want to marry me). its kinda sad la, but the guy probably has his reasons too. i believe the guy is consoling her, cause she is now sitting on the floor of the carpark, after a sucessful attempt to stop the man from walking away by grabbing his legs. its so pityfull. i cant stand it any longer, so i'm not gonna blog bout this anymore. it just makes me sad.

bacck to biology. actually, the paper was not that bad la, except for one question. its goes like: ' compare and contrast the sexual reproduction process between mammals and plants.' i was stunned by this question. i did the whole paper and spent 30mins on that question. i mean, like, i seriously mind block that time.

in the end, i thought of two points, but needed one more. out of deperation, i almost wrote: in order for the gametes to be released in mammals, stimulation is required. but then i decided not to. if mr chong sees it, he'll probably send me to a shrink.

went to mac's before bio. met sh, tracie, alan, zi yond, jy, shyani and drew there. it was like BIO BIO BIO. bio mania. we sat there for like 2 hrs studying bio >.<

after sch went to eat wif px, sh, janis, zhi jun, eunice c, joiel n hy. then went to library to study a maths. guess i was pretty tired after that cause i almost missed my stop.

ok. gonna stop now. i wanna watch school rumble!!!

Saturday, September 23, 2006

bloggin for the 2nd time todae cause i seriously cant find anything to do (apart from studying). havent really blogged bout the week, althought there was the brief overview of the exams. well, for those who want to know (few, i believe. who wants to read bout something that they already know about?), here it is.

Tuesdae: had geog exam, then, if my memory serves me right, went to px hse to study chemistry. actually didnt study much there la. just read through metals and did half of the notes on the periodic table. then about 4 we left her hse cause we felt that studyin chem there was kinda hopeless. went home and mugged and mugged (don't remeber reading about flour mills, or even flour, for that matter).

gonna finish later. have something to do.
PRELIMS ARE ALMOST OVER!! WEEEEE!!!

some papers were a killer, but some i found quite easy. haha. i know many people r gonna kill me for saying this.

PRELIMS, AN OUTLINE (so far)

Easier papers: E maths, both papers, and A maths paper 1.

Medium difficulty: Chemistry paper ,both papers, Physics paper 2, Geography, Social studies, English paper 2

Hard: English paper 1

GAYNEST: Chemistry paper 2

the chem paper 2 was like, omg. i mean some parts are rather OK la, but got one question damn..... it goes like this:

A flour mill mysteriouslt collapse in the middle of the night. All the police know is that some workers were transporting some torn sacks of flour out of the flour mill. A paraffin lamp in the mill might have something to do with the collapse. How did the flour mill collapse?

WHAT IS THIS?????

possibilities:
1)corruption. bad materials were used due to corruption.
2)paraffin reacted with flour?

found out from mre goh that next yr, pure science student are not gonna take o levels anymore. instead, its gonna be like poly. pratical assesment. its so FUN!!!
I WANT TO DO IT!!

i think its time to change my blogskin. i'm finding it sooo boring. yawns. prelim this week, so its gonna be one hell of a week.

its HECTIC HECTIC HECTIC BLOODY MEMORIZING WORK!!!

RARR

was studyin for ss and then theme 5 was classified under 1st priority but sustaining development( part 1 of theme 5) is so tedious. feel lyk strangling myself. went for tuition jus now but it was about the same thing as las week. we talked mostly about other subj. (it was a maths tuition) i think i'm making all of u bored here so i'm gonna stop now.

what a week.
i guess there are only a few words to describe the practicals, and most of them start with the first half of the alphabet. chem prac was lyk, i dunno? dumb?
1. add S to aqoues sudium hydorxide UNTIL A CHANGE IS SEEN.

there wasn't supposed to be any change, apparently, as i found out later. i mea lyk, i pour until the test-tube over-flowed and i was wondering why there was still no reaction. and in the end i didnt write what the compound was.

then bio prac, too confusing to write about. too depressed to write bout it lar. surprisingly, i found physics the easiest. its so straight forward! why cant bio n chem be straight forward like: add S to aqoues sodium hydroxide and observe if a change is seen.

damn.

todae went to cwp after prac to photocopy eunice oon's ss notes. Thanks for bringing them! met chee chun, zi yond and alan at cwp, where cc took up a dare. whahahaha he needed to go into one of the shops and say that he wants a peircing. then when the person take out ler, he must sae that he don't want it anymore. then went to eat long john's with Joel and Andrew. met several peeps there, and ALL our cokes tasted of DETERGENT. YES. DETERGENT. got the lemon smell summore. then we ask the manager he say still investigating the problem but we highly suspect it was the work of an unattentive personnel or it could have been a machine break down or an accident. still, he refunded our drinks with iced lemon tea. and, the worse thing is, after we openly expressed that our drinks tasted of detergent, the people queing up just got more. i didnt know certain singaporeans had a thing for detergent. i, for one, don't.

after that went to px house, where we studied. went home after that wif kc n cc. kinda weird day. hmmm

i gtg. charms's on.

Monday, September 11, 2006

super weird day.

eng prelims tml, so betta go study. heard its really difficult!!

not bad la.

You Are 50% Normal

While some of your behavior is quite normal...
Other things you do are downright strange
You've got a little of your freak going on
But you mostly keep your weirdness to yourself

why? why am i ALWAYS in the middle?

You Are 44% Feminine, 56% Masculine

You are in touch with both your feminine and masculine sides.
You're sensitive at the right times, but you don't let your emotions overwhelm you.
You're not a eunuch, just the best of both genders.

air... hmmm same as px

Your Element Is Air

You dislike conflict, and you've been able to rise above the angst of the world.
And when things don't go your way, you know they'll blow over quickly.

Easygoing, you tend to find joy from the simple things in life.
You roll with the punches, and as a result, your life is light and cheerful.

You find it easy to adapt to most situations, and you're an open person.
With you, what you see is what you get... and people love that!

weee. so fun.

Friday, September 08, 2006

seems like a long time since i really blogged about something, so i decided to catch up on all the stuff.

watched 'the devil wears prada' on the eve of teacher's dae with joel, jun you n kong cheng. its not that nice, but its actually quite watchable, with some quirky bits here n there. kong cheng came about 5 mins into the start of the movie, but nonetheless, he didn't miss much. i actually wanted to go bacck to my pri school after the movie, but unfortunately, the school forbade visits after 3. zzz. our sch ended so late. don't blame me. the whole teacher's dae concert kinda screwed up. ok la, it wasnt that bad but seriously, i believe it could have been better.

went to si hui's bdae on mondae. we met up at cwp there at 1 but i needed to bring my grandma to meet my dad so that he can bring her to the hospital for her check-up. then we went to somerset there to play pool. i lost 2 out of about 6 i think. we played about 2 hrs i think, until 5. it was rather cheap, cheaper than i expected, actually. then we went to heeren to buy Joel's watch n met up with Janis there. Joel was wearing this shirt which said : 'i come in 30 minutes or its free. wait long long pizza.' the pizza thing is extra. if u dun look at the pizza thingy, u should be able to spot the pun in the sentence. after that we went to marina bay, where tracie, jason and me sadly parted the others due to our restrictions (home by 8 T_T)

when we reach woodlands jason left cause he was having dinner at home. went to long john's with tracie. saw allynn n her friens there. tracie actually asked for more crumbs. gosh. i didnt know u could do that. no wonder i didnt have any crumbs. i ordered after her. warning out to all of you! order long john before tracie order if not no more crumbs!! whahaha

saw px blog todae n saw the pic of kim sun ah before she gained weight. i was like 'wow' but i the charm is still there, i guess. off to watch my lovely sam soon now. cya!
song changed, to better together by jack johnson. i'm so in love with this song.
went out almost the whole dae todae. brought my beloved..... grandma to the doctor. she has some rheumatism problems. howver, the doctor was malay n could hardly understand what my grandma was speakin (she speaks hokkien). however, he does know a little n his efforts are commendable. then went out to celebrate my cousin's bdae, with my grandma too. by the time i managed to get home it was 4. coincedentally, my mum's n my cousin's bdae fall on the same dae. ytd we already celebrated my mum's bdae, though.

anyway, when we were home, i sat in front of the com andid well... tests...

god. ima only 10 yrs old!!

You Are 10 Years Old

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

weee i'm FEMALE!! well, at least, my brain is, mostly.

Your Brain is 60% Female, 40% Male

Your brain is a healthy mix of male and female
You are both sensitive and savvy
Rational and reasonable, you tend to keep level headed
But you also tend to wear your heart on your sleeve

just in case, i tried this:

You Are 50% Boyish and 50% Girlish

You are pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch.
Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But you do get along with both sexes.
You reject traditional gender roles. However, you don't actively fight them.
You're just you. You don't try to be what people expect you to be.

omg.

You Should Learn Swedish

Fantastisk! You're laid back about learning a language - and about life in general.
Peaceful, beautiful Sweden is ideal for you... And you won't even have to speak perfect Swedish to get around!

haha. looks like korean's not for me, karen. haha. jkjk.

ever wondered what name i would have if i became a porn star? well a test said it was 'Bam Bam'
.
.
.
.
what a corny name.

You Have Your Sarcastic Moments

While you're not sarcastic at all times, you definitely have a cynical edge.
In your opinion, not all people are annoying. Some are dead!
And although you do have your genuine moments, you can't help getting your zingers in.
Some people might be a little hurt by your sarcasm, but it's more likely they think you're hilarious.

gotta watch my sarcasm...

wow. this is one loooonnnngggg blog entry, though most of it is in html.... gonna do more tests, but guess i shouldn't post too many
whahaha another one
EQ is 140. gosh. nvr expected that

Your EQ is 140

50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick!
51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese.
71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely.
91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that.
111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt.
131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin.
150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar.

hmmmm was just talking about jobs in the last post n saw this at tracie's blog

Your Career Type: Conventional

You are orderly and good at following a set plan.
Your talents lie in working with written records and numbers in a systematic, orderly way.

You would make an excellent:

Bank Teller - Bookkeeper - Court Clerk
Mail Carrier - Post Office Clerk - Secretary
Timekeeper - Title Examiner - Typist

The worst career options for your are artistic careers, like comedian or dancer.

and, i did this too

Your Heart Is Pink

In relationships, you like to play innocent - even though you aren't.
Each time you fall in love, it's like falling for the first time.

Your flirting style: Coy

Your lucky first date: Picnic in the park

Your dream lover: Is both caring and dominant

What you bring to relationships: Romance

interesting...
hmm.
its funny. why did i end up here, on blogger? i was just testing out the mozilla firefox with mac skin. so it looks like i'm using a mac on windows! looks nice. the only problem with this browser is that i have to install macromedia flash player on it again. that means i cant use youtube any time soon. hais.
today was meant to be set aside for revising biology. for some reason, i cant seem to concentrate. its just this feelin of falling down a deep, black hole. one that i know i cant climb out of. its just kinda depressing.
watched fahrenheit 9/11 yesterday. lent it from amos. it was nice, though it had some gruesome pictures. guess thats why its rated NC16.
since i couldn't bring myself to do any biology, i watched 7 episodes of schol rumble, and finished the season 1. there's still school rumble: semester 2.

Joel asked me some time ago( in fact, quite a few times) what i wanted to be. i cant give a direct answer, cause i really don't know. lets face it. when u have a job, u at least expect to be paid a decent amount of money. of course, when u do charity work its different. but you wouldn't want to waste your time for nothing, right? even if u don't desire the money, you would still need it for survival.

Choice 1: Journalist
i like the working hours (flexible) and i get to go to other countries. thing is, i'm more of the un-photogenic type, so trying out for a journalist could be a just a dream of mine. Also, there are so many (freaking) journalists now. i guess the news channels have more journalists then they can handle.

Choice 2:Author
few things i like about this proffesion is that you can be one without any qualifications, which is so un-singaporean. Sue Townsend , author of the Adrain Mole series doesn't have decent qualifications, though she has talent in writing. however, inspiration is hard to come by, and being a author means long hours at the desk/computer and the ever-present rush for the deadline.

Choice 3:Bio-engineer
this was actually what i wanted to be for many years until recently, i changed my mind. i don't know why. i suddenly prefer flexible working hours. i felt that 10 hours a day, 5 days a week cooped up in a small lab isin't my idea of adulthood. i rather stay as an adolescent than being in a lab 24-7.

Choice Star:......
learn Japanese and live a peaceful life in Japan. no, not tokyo. possibly kyoto or somewhere with mountains. probably work as a shop assistant or open up a shop. convinience or provision shop, most likely. nobody can live without life's necessities, right?

think i've said enough. tata

the other blog is jus for blogging when i feel lousy.

half finished cake!

both cakes, on the big dae!! nice right? delicious!

went to the IT fair wif tracie, px and jun you yesterday. quite fun. but the highlight of the dae was, without doubt, the imac. its so nice! its lyk a 17/20 inch lcd monitor (depending on which imac u want) and tats ALL. no cpu. no big bulky boring rectangular stuff that u hit when ur computer goes wrong. no more. the hard disk, video card etc. is all INSIDE this slim monitor. means hor, ur table only need speaker, keyboard n mouse. the cpu is GONE....

....GONE. i want it! mac is so much more interesting! when u close or minimize a window, lyk itunes, it sorta vertexes downwards. you have to see it for urself. i want one!

Friday, September 01, 2006

ok. i just deleted warcraft 3 and mirc. i decided to start getting serious. it was a shift+delete, so even if i regret, i cant do anything about it. nope. it cant be restored.

i feel lyk a whole new person. weeeeee
where will we be 10 yrs from now??

hais. time passes so fast!!! now i understand the meaning of not wanting to grow up...

if given a choice, i would choose to remain tis way.. it pains me to think tat 5, 10 yrs ltr we wont contact each other anymore. jun you goin overseas, and many others too. sad.

dun mind me. ima on the verge of tears after listenin to vitamin c n lookin at photos. ots jus an emotional thing.
